Michael Dale Huckabee (born 24 August 1955) is an American politician, former Governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, and currently seeking the nomination from the Republican Party for the 2008 presidential election. Huckabee is also an ordained Southern Baptist minister, writer of health books, and bass guitar player for his rock band, Capitol Offense. He is married to Janet (neé McCain) and has three children. Huckabee won the Iowa caucus on 3 January 2008.
