The article need much expansion

I am not a meteorologist and my knowledge of the subject is limited. I wrote this article (which is more than a stub but still needs some major expansion) simply because there are over 40 red links to the word "meteorology" and a similar number of red links to the word "meteorological" in various CZ articles (as disclosed by a Google search of CZ).

Anyone with some real expertise in this field: please chip in and improve this article! It needs it. Milton Beychok 23:32, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
