Dictatorship of the Proletariat

Just after reading through this article and was just wondering about the section on the 'Dictatorship of the Proletariat'. In political science I was under the assumption that the true meaning of the term is quite vague; Modern Communists would assert the Dictatorship is 'the dictatorship of the people' AKA the 'dictatorship of the Working Class' AKA, the Working Class is boss. The section seems to treat it as an actual dictatorship. Seems like an interesting question all by itself! Denis Cavanagh 17:07, 27 January 2008 (CST)
