Hi Brian, I saw your query at [http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/User_talk:Lee_R._Berger#Deletion_of_Shore-Based_Scenario Professor Berger's talk page] concerning deleting an article that you started.  If you are the sole author (and it is okay with your instructor), all you have to do is copy this text  <nowiki>{{speedydelete|put your reason here|your name here}}</nowiki> (including the brackets and don't forget to fill out the "put your reason here' and 'your name here' sections)and paste it to the top of the article's talk page and a constable (that would be me) will delete it thenext time we're going through the articles.  If you have any questions, do feel free to stop by my talk page as well.  --[[User:D. Welcome Page

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Aleksander Stos 15:08, 2 February 2008 (CST)

Brian, you might want to check out the following link that is at least somewhat relevant.[1]--Matt Sponheimer 16:26, 26 February 2008 (CST)

Image

I can make you a 2D image fairly easily. Is this the all cis-double bond model (ie the omega-3 fatty acid) nutrient, also known as cervonic acid or DHA? ...said David E. Volk (talk) 11:33, 3 April 2008

I started an article, docosahexaenoic acid, that includes a picture of the molecule in question. You can copy part of the chem infobox part that says image = .... Take the stuff after image =, between the two square brackets. You can add a comment right before the closing two brackets if you want to label the image. I may refresh this image and make it better later. I need to double check the nomenclature re omega minus 3 or omega-3 as to exact definition, that is referring to carbon 19 or 20. In the meantime you can use it, but the image may change later to be slightly better. The change for you will be seemless David E. Volk 16:17, 7 April 2008 (CDT)

Delete an article

Hi Brian, I saw your query at Professor Berger's talk page concerning deleting an article that you started. If you are the sole author (and it is okay with your instructor), all you have to do is copy this text {{speedydelete|put your reason here|your name here}} (including the brackets and don't forget to fill out the "put your reason here' and 'your name here' sections)and paste it to the top of the article's talk page and a constable (that would be me) will delete it thenext time we're going through the articles. If you have any questions, do feel free to stop by my talk page as well. --D. Matt Innis 13:08, 17 April 2008 (CDT)
