"Modern communications technology, especially the Internet and whatever will evolve from it in the future, is a terrible threat to all tyrannies, whether religious or secular." (Isaac Bonewits)

I attained a bachelor's degree in Engineering Science, specializing in Geophysics, some years ago.

I've taken special delight in mathematics and linguistics from a young age. When the high school English teacher announced we would spend two weeks studying grammar, all the other students groaned, but I cheered. In university, when the calculus professor announced that we would be studying epsilon-delta proofs, again all the other students groaned but I cheered. I guess I just naturally enjoy those types of mental activity.

Other topics I'm interested in include psychology and psycholinguistics, nutrition, breastfeeding, natural health care and natural family planning.

I have skills in computer programming and in the French language.
