Format

I am a little confused as to what you mean regarding the format. Do you want the Homo ... sections to each be a separate subpage of this page? The article looks in pretty good shape right now. Please reply here or on your talk page. David E. Volk 10:44, 28 March 2008 (CDT)

David, i already formatted it, so you did not see how it was. I made edits to add subsections are well as standardise the lead section and added a few internal links. Diana, is this what you wanted? Chris Day 12:49, 28 March 2008 (CDT)

David and Chris, Thank You for all your help, this format is what I wanted. I have a few questions: 1) I need to add another section, "Reference," how would I be able to add another section? 2) If I were to add a picture, how would be able to this? 3)I need to change my title from "Evolution of hominid intelligence" to "Evolution of hominin intelligence" is it possible to change my title?   • It is possible to change your title. Click on the move tab above and rename the article.
  • To add a new section just add a new section header. Depending on the hierarchy use: ==Top level section title==, ===secondary level section title===, ====tertiary level section title==== and so on.
  • For a picture, upload the one you want using the "upload file" link bottom left. I usually upload a jpg. Then use the following format, [[Image:Example.jpg|thumb|right|300px|Caption here]]. Note you can control the size in pixels, the location (right, left or center) and add a caption. Chris, Thank you for all your help. I have a couple more things that I did to add to project and was wondering if you could be of assistance. With me citations, I would like to add a suberscript hyperlink that will direct readers to the course. I have tried and I know that I am doing something incorrectly. I have a few areas in my project that needs to be superscript hyperlink (the citation number are bolded throughout my project). My reference is at the end of my project, could you help? Thank You.

Diana: Consider discussing with your professor whether you wish to develop the article as the evolution of 'hominid' intelligence or 'hominin' intelligence, since 'hominid' includes the Great Apes whereas 'hominin' refers to the lineage from which Homo sapiens emerged.

As I understand the most recent definition:

Hominid - the group consisting of all modern and extinct Great Apes (that is, modern humans, chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans plus all their immediate ancestors).
Hominin - the group consisting of modern humans, extinct human species and all our immediate ancestors (including members of the genera Homo, Australopithecus, Paranthropus and Ardipithecus).
