Musculoskeletal manipulations encompass a range of manipulations of body tissues, muscles and bones by hands or equipment to improve health and circulation, relieve fatigue, or promote healing.[1] The manipulation must involve actual movement of body parts, so does not include energy medicine or mind-body therapies such as therapeutic touch or reiki.
