Should this merge with human-animal bond? Howard C. Berkowitz 18:53, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

I wasn't aware of this article when I wrote mine. There is certainly overlap, but I don't think that we would merge Anthropology with one of the particular items that it studied such as Polynesian migrations through the Pacific. There's a lot more to Anthrozoology than what I wrote about in the first brief paragraph. There should certainly be links and references between the two articles, however. And I'm surprised in the "bond" article that there is not more skepticism expressed about some of these claims -- to me they clearly fall into the category of "praying helps hospital patients" -- until other studies show the contrary. Maybe this should be in Health Sciences also instead of one of the three I chose? Hayford Peirce 19:04, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
