Apropos synchronization

In the military context, it isn't always obvious that the widespread position reference systems such as GPS and LORAN also provide synchronized precision time reference. There's some discussion at frequency agility; time synchronization is a fundamental part of the more advanced radio systems such as SINCGARS and Joint Tactical Radio System. --Howard C.
