This is a review article that discusses limitations of standard analysis and presents functional assays],these assays are advocated as having greater relevance to in vitro (and vivo) fertilization rates.

I suggest that near-future work on this article focus more on the normal than the abnormal. Currently, most of the information herein is regarding male infertility; it would be better to start with the properties of normal semen, then discuss abnormalities.
