History

Does anyone know when the arsenal was opened/closed? The British have had a history in Dum Dum dating back to the 1700s according to one of the linked sources so I assume the arsenal must be opened around that time as well? The closure of the arsenal or modern day use would also be worth looking into but information seems scarce. --Mehar Gill 22:47, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
