Richard, yes, that sounds ideal -- but my experience has been that the 'powers that be' here are, for understandable reasons, reluctant to start new workgroups -- given that some established ones are nearly vacant, and with concern about a plethora of smallish groups.
I think we could and should have a Police History sub-group, but it would need to be "hosted" by some main group, either Law or History, so that articles could be tagged.  I'll talk to the tech folks, though, and see if there isn't some way around this; I just wouldn't want the articles danging around without a workgroup tag, as they would easily get lost altogether.  I think the workgroups, in part, function as an index -- here are all the items a "History" workgroup member might want to work on -- rather than as a seal of approval.  In the interim, would you please leave this and the other items so far ([[Scotland Yard]], [[Lilian Wyles]], and [[Charles Frederick Field]]) tagged for History until we can see what alternatives may be possible?
Thanks,
