The Microsoft Corporation is a computer technology company, founded in 1975 by Bill Gates, known largely for their work in the software industry. Microsoft is the creator of the Windows operating system, which is the most used piece of software in the world. Microsoft is also known for their outstandingly popular gaming console, the Xbox, the Zune mp3 player, as well as such software as Office.
