Lois McMaster Bujold (born 1949) is an American science fiction and fantasy writer who, between 1988 and 2018, has won seven Hugo awards (fan-voted) and three Nebula awards (writer-voted), three Locus awards, and more[1]. Bujold's most famous set of recurring characters are in the Vorkosigan universe, which is pure science fiction. She has also written several additional recurring universes in the fantasy genre.
