The International Show of Peace Concert was a planned global peace concert to feature musicians , celebrities, and politicians, held at the Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing, China. It aimed to bring awareness to protect the earth and promote Sustainable living.[3][4] Rick Garson was the executive producer and promoter while Hamish Hamilton was the special director of the event.[5]

Headline acts

The headline acts of the event included Jimmy Page,[6] Joe Perry and Prince.[7] Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Orianthi Panagaris, were also named.

Cancellation

Due to unforeseen political machinations and financial problems, the concert was postponed until 10 October 2010.[8] However this date past with no further announcements.[9]
