The first Biology Week took place here from Sep 22-28, 2008.

We are planning a big "online convention" of Biologists here on the Citizendium. Would you like to see more work done on articles about Approved Article Biology on Citizendium? Then here is your chance to make a difference. Leading up to this week, we will be doing quite a bit of recruitment (on Biology mailing lists, departments, and so forth). We'll try to tap into many networks so that there is general awareness both of the Citizendium and of this special week. Consider it a major kick-off for the Biology Workgroup.

We need your help to make this happen. This page lists volunteers for different (mostly recruitment) functions. Won't you sign up and make the Biology Week a success? Any author can sign up to do anything, other than serve as the coordinator for the week.

Dates: September 22-28

Biology Week Coordinators: Supten Sarbadhikari and Daniel Mietchen
