With $ 7.4 billion in net worth as of December 31, 2019, BlackRock is the world's largest wealth manager.[2] BlackRock's customers are private investors and institutions such as banks, pension funds, foundations, insurers, sovereign wealth funds and central banks.

BlackRock is active in the exchange-traded fund (ETF) business through its iShares brand.[3]
