North Yorkshire is a ceremonial county within the historical county of Yorkshire. It is the largest ceremonial county in both Yorkshire and the United Kingdom with an area of 3,341 square miles and a population of 1,082,000.

National Parks

Around 40% of the county is covered with national parks, with all of the North York Moors and the majority of the Yorkshire Dales.
