I studied music at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and am a saxophonist. I performed and taught saxophone, clarinet and piano for 10 years in London. From there, I moved in 2003 to Australia, where I lectured at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney (now part of the University of Sydney) for 3 years, teaching Improvisation, Group Composition, and running weekly performance workshops.
