I studied music at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and am a saxophonist. I performed and taught saxophone, clarinet and piano for 10 years in London. From there, I moved in 2003 to Australia, where I lectured at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney (part of the University of Sydney) for 3 years, teaching Improvisation, Group Composition, and running weekly performance workshops. I now teach privately, perform, and work on my own projects.

I also co-founded a web design business in 1995, HazelDesign, and 'went solo' upon moving to Australia, the business is now called Goldberry Group.
