VJ McDonald has over 20 years experience in the commercial, not-for-profit, and government information technology fields. VJ has worked as a technical writer; business and requirements analyst; web manager and content developer; consultant; information officer; instructor/trainer; and director/manager at various levels in information resources. VJ has a BA in English from the University of Tennessee; a Masters in Public Administration from Troy State University; and graduate-level work in computing and business administration. He has taught computer-related subjects at the community-college level, and has been a trainer in the commercial world. VJ is an Air Force veteran, and is currently a technical writer on contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information Field Office in Bay Pines, Florida. He is a fan of Harry Turtledove and other alternative history writers, and also enjoys Tom Clancy's Ryanverse novels.
