I was born May 2, 1974 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 1999, I began my online research affiliations with the Gerontology Research Group (www.grg.org). In 2000, I began my online affiliations with the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany. In 2001, I began my online affiliations with www.emporis.com, being promoted to Atlanta editor for the #1 high-rise building website in the world. Also in 2001, I began online affiliations with the New England Centenarian Study. In 2002, I began working with Jerry Friedman of the Earth's Elders Foundation, which published a book, "Wisdom of the World's Oldest People," in 2005 (I am credited in the book). In 2004, I obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Georgia Perimeter College (with honors). In 2005, after several years of research assistance, I was hired by Guinness World Records to be their Senior Consultant for Gerontology. In 2006, I graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in History degree and a gerontology certificate.

Having worked on several books and journal articles, I have been featured in newspapers over 1,000 times on six continents, including the front page of the Wall Street Journal. I have also been on CNN, BBC, and National Public Radio, to name a few outlets. I am generally recognized as the authority on "world's oldest person" claimants.
