Rob Wilson is a professor of philosophy at the University of Alberta specializing in the philosophy of mind and cognitive science, the philosophy of science (especially biology), and philosophical issues associated with disability. He was the editor, with Frank Keil, of The MIT Encyclopedia of the Cognitive Sciences (MIT Press, 1999), and is the author or editor of five other books. He is currently the team lead for the 5-year project, "Living Archives on Eugenics in Western Canada", and the director of Philosophy for Children Alberta, both of which place a high value on community-university relationships, and public informedness.
