I am a retired corporate lawyer (JD 1974 University of North Carolina) with a BA English/History undergraduate degree (also from the University of North Carolina). I serve as archivist and webmaster for the Caswell County Historical Association (Yanceyville, Caswell County, North Carolina) and for the Asheville and Buncombe County website. In this capacity I have authored hundreds of articles and served as the principal author and editor-in-chief of one book (published in 2009). I also have contributed several articles to Wikipedia. My first Citizendium project would be a brief history of Caswell County, North Carolina (established 1777 and named for North Carolina's first post-colonial governor, Richard Caswell). This small county produced many men important in the early political history of the state, and many families throughout the country trace to it their ancestors. Richmond Stanfield Frederick, Jr.
