My name is Massimiliano Malgieri, I live in Genoa, Italy. I was born in 1973.

I have an university degree ("laurea") in physics from Genoa University, roughly equivalent to a M.S., with a 110/110 grade. I then went through a Ph.D. course in theoretical physics, where I completed all exam assignements, but failed to produce my thesis within the 3 years time limit for personal reasons.

I am currently working as a programmer in numerical simulations, and periodically teaching physics and mathematics in high school.

My interests include physics, especially numerical and foundations, mathematics, biology, philosophy, linguistics, education, music and rugby. I play rugby union as a prop forward in Italian "serie C" (third division).
