Born "Black Saturday", October 27, 1962 at the Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Attended public schools in various parts of suburbia surrounding that capital city and graduated from Central Dauphin East High School in 1980. Received an Associates Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and finished my BA in Journalism and Communications at Point Park College (now "University") in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1986. After two to three lost years in Ocean City, Maryland and back in Harrisburg, started a career in public media fundraising at WITF, Inc. also in Harrisburg. Married Donna Lynn Mills in 1989. Worked at Penn State Public Broadcasting, New Jersey Network Public Television and Radio, Public Broadcasting Service, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and Maryland Public Television. Currently self employed as an independent consultant. Proud father of son, Severin Mills Laskowski, born 1991 and daughter, Veronica Rae Laskowski, born 1993. Divorced first wife in 2005. Married Catherine Elizabeth Twohill October 20, 2007. Avid reader and aspiring (although mostly unpublished) writer.
