Mark Woods is an award winning apprentice served engineer with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in engineering and Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Mark's career was initially focused in the engineering sector designing and manufacturing a range of specialist, usually one off, state of the art transducers for both commercial and military use. He was then appointed as a change agent to introduce modern manufacturing and management methods for a diamond tooling company, where after an initial two year period he was promoted into a number of different positions including sales and marketing.

Mark then left to pursue an MBA at Bradford University with the world's first Professor of Quality Management, John Oakland. On completion of the MBA in 1991, Mark set up his own consulting organisation Statius Management Services Ltd which continues to thrive. The company operate across a range of sectors providing organisations of all sizes with educational and consultancy services. The company's mission is to "Raise Standards" and this is achieved trough a combination of assisting clients implement practical management systems that add value and reduce risk and an organisational development and growth program entitled "Optimisation 3D."
