I am currently a graduate student at Queens College CUNY. I am pursuing my MA degree in Biology. I am in my last semester. I also work for the New York State Department of Agriculture in the Asian Long Horned Beetle Program. The ALB program focuses on the eradication and control of the beetle which has infested NYC and parts of Long Island and New Jersey. I am currently a supervisor for the Queens and Manhattan area of the ALB Program and focus is put on survey of all host trees in these areas as well as treatment of all host trees. We also focus on biometrics and survey of high risk probable infestation areas where infestations have not been previously detected.
