Lonnie, who holds degrees in Communications, Writing, Counseling, and Engineering, is the past director of Rocky Mountain Training Institute in Colorado, a world-wide consultant to Ministries of Health and Education in various countries. He also founded and directed Crossroads Inc., a Training and Consulting firm in Colorado, which worked with American Companies and National Organizations on Employee Assistance Issues.

Lonnie is a past recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Writing, a Fellowship at The Millay Colony for the Arts and he has authored several books, produced plays and hundreds of publications.

He is a Professor with over thirty years of teaching experience at Universities worldwide including: Baylor University, The University of North Carolina, The U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences while he was a soldier during a few of the Vietnam years, He is currently a foreign expert at Zhonghan University in China where he teaches Literature and Global Culture and other subjects.

On the personal side: Lonnie is a martial artist (Master Instructor in Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do) , fumbling close-up magician and now rabid blogger.
