My name is Kenneth Edmond Neubauer. I was born in Saint Louis, MO on January 17, 1965. I have been active as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1970. I now serve as a Ministerial Servant in my local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Though I am now permanently disabled, I was employed for over 20 years servicing Medical Imaging Equipment. While I primarily was responsible to service basic radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, I also serviced CT (Computed Tomography) units, mammography imagers, ultrasound units, and Nuclear Medicine imagers. During my employment, my secondary duty was that of an instructor in basic repair theories of imaging equipment. The training I offered started at a level of basic electronic theory through specific, detailed, and practical daily service of equipment.
My first computer was a Timex Sinclair T1000 thus necessitating an understanding of BASIC. I developed this interest throughout my secular career through certification as an MCSE in the year 2001. I acclimated to PC’s using DOS and a 4.77 MHz XT computer. I was connected to the Internet before access to the World Wide Web (WWW) was possible. I utilized the Archie ftp site index, as well as Veronica, and the Gopher protocols. I had limited use of TELNET groups, but was active on a few BBS’s even after WWW success. I still regularly post and view USENET articles thus maintaining my geekeness.
I also have a great deal of public speaking experience. I am not immune to opinions, but I pride myself on researching subjects before editorializing them.
