I was born in Portland, OR, in 1980, where I lived until 1988. I lived with my family in Philadelphia until 1998, when BYU admitted me as a freshman. After one semester at BYU I served a full-time proselytizing mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for two years in Alaska. I then returned to BYU and graduated with a B.S. degree in psychology. I am currently in my third year at Washington and Lee University School of law, and serving as the editor in chief of the school's Environmental Law Digest.[1] I have also during my time in law school served as a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Robert C. Jones, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, currently serve as a judicial intern for two judges in the Virginia circuit court system, and have been accepted for a full time position as a law clerk for Judge Martin in the City of Norfolk Circuit Court next year.
