I received my B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004,
and am currently a graduate student in Medieval History program at Yale
University. I am interested in the early Middle Ages: especially in
diplomatics, paleography, codicology, textual criticism, and medieval Latin,
as well as the political history of the Merovingian and Carolingian periods.
I have published an article on Bede’s Vita Cuthberti in the Revue
Bénédictine, and another on aspects of textual criticism will appear before
long in Blackwell’s History Compass. I am currently at work on a variety of
projects, among them the origins of the archdiocese of Hamburg-Bremen, and
the development of pallium donations through the end of the ninth century.
