I was born in 1962 in Hillingdon, Middlesex, UK, and am currently writing a biography of the diarist and naturalist W. N. P. Barbellion. I am the editor of The Quotable Barbellion (Alderbourne Books, 1999; revised edition, 2000) and an executive producer on Animal Husbandry, a forthcoming feature film directed by Andrew Repasky McElhinney.
