Deanne Taylor PhD has two hats: one, as a Bioinformatics scientist at a large biotech company, the other as the Program Director for the Bioinformatics Graduate Program in the Rabb School Division of Graduate Professional Studies at Brandeis University. She recieved her PhD from the Biophysics Graduate Program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where she completed a dissertation in solid-state NMR theory in the Ramamoorthy Laboratory. Her undergraduate education was at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where she completed a double major in physics and astronomy. She currently resides in Massachusetts with two cats named Necco and Saba, and a big Rottweiler named Kody.
