Sorry folks, I have been away from wiki editing for a long time, and am only slowly getting back into it. My sole written information source for this article about UNRRA was "The Bitter Road to Freedom" by William Hitchcock (2008 ISBN 9780743273817 Simon and Schuster). My parents Luke Shmorhay and Katherine Olenycz-Shmorhay were residents of the Cornberg, Germany DP camp from 1945 to 1949, and, eventually, with the aid of their fellow Ukrainians, were able to come to the United States in 1950. They often expressed their gratitude to the people of UNRRA, the Red Cross, and the YMCA/YWCA charities who provided them with food, clothing, and medicine. Bo 20:57, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
