Talk:Secularism/Definition

Is this definition correct? Turkey is frequently called a secular state, but it certainly doesn't believe in separation. Atatürk didn't disestablish religion, he nationalized it, like Henry VIII. But, whereas the king was content with appointing bishops and laying down basic doctrines, the Turkish government appoints all imams and faxes their sermons through to the mosques.
