Talk:Claude Shannon/Works

Hi there Pat! Why add notes to a list of works? I don't get it. All the bibliographic information that you would put in a note belongs in the original citation; that's what a list of works is, a bibliography of works written by the subject of the article. (For this reason, there is no need to put "Claude Shannon" before the title of the work.) See Category:Works Subpages for examples. --Larry Sanger 12:30, 9 May 2008 (CDT)

The full text of that article is available online, can I just link to it right in the list? Sorry to be so clueless about style here. Feel free to fix it like you think it should be; I learn well from examples, and not so well from explanations.Pat Palmer 16:17, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
Duh, I see it now! I removed notes from there, but put the ref on the main article. And the link to the full text is under another tab as well. Hope that does it. Thanks for the heads up.Pat Palmer 16:20, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
