I have deleted the Census data of 2001 because they massively undercount, as Greeks flock to the rural villages of their ancestors to register at Census time, when in reality they reside all year in Athens or some other major city. They do this because of state subsidies for rural areas based on registration numbers in the Census. Martin Baldwin-Edwards 17:45, 16 August 2008 (CDT)

OK :-)--Domergue Sumien 17:47, 16 August 2008 (CDT)
The other issue is the name of the country. Formally, it is now Ελλάς in the EU, although in English we tend to still call it Greece rather than Hellas. Martin Baldwin-Edwards 17:49, 16 August 2008 (CDT)
The long history section now dominates the article, meaning that it is really mostly about Ancient Athens. I wonder if it would be better to take it to a separate article actually entitled Ancient Athens...Martin Baldwin-Edwards 13:58, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree. The article about 'Athens' could provide a concise outlook on the general history of the city. The article about 'Ancient Athens' could provide detailed information on Antiquity.--Domergue Sumien 08:06, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Good; I'll try to do this, now. Martin Baldwin-Edwards 16:39, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
