Olympians [r]: From Greek mythology, they were Greek gods who included Zeus along with his siblings and children and include: Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Hephaistos, Aphrodite, Hermes, and Dionysos. In one accounting, they numbered twelve with the omission of Hades (identified with the underworld) and Hestia (goddess of the hearth). [e]
