Do As Infinity is a popular Japanese band that debuted on September 29, 1999. It was founded by Dai Nagao, whose first name is the acronym of the band's title. Its main members are Tomiko Van as singer and Ryo Owatari as guitarist. The band disbanded on its sixth anniversary on September 29, 2005, when Van and Owatari branched off in pursuit of separate careers. The band reformed on September 29, 2008, but Nagao did not return.
