I wrote only a few posts on that subject, but that was enough to attract the attention of trolls. When Jenks24 unblocked me, there was a wave of indignation that lasted for weeks. The Vietnam project had been my little pond up to that point, but soon pro-diacritics editors began to take an interest. So "Han-Nom" is very much off the beaten track as far as controversial subject matter goes. It's just what I happened to be working on at the time the knives came out for me.
