Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! David Tribe 03:29, 30 March 2007 (CDT)

Topological space article

Hi Giovanni. I wanted to inform you there is already a topological space article in CZ, so it is not necessary to start a new one called Topological Space (note that according to CZ article naming conventions the 'Space' should not be capitalized). I think it's better to focus energy on refining/improving the existing article. Thanks. Hendra I. Nurdin 00:56, 3 December 2007 (CST)

Hi Giovanni. Warm welcome to your contributions in math. Hendra seems to be right here :) You may be interested in determining what parts of your text can be carried to topological space to improve it. Please observe the convention -- we capitalise only the first letter in titles and sections headings (unless the term is capitalised in normal writing, like a name for example).
On related note, did you know about this page? Absolute chaos, but pretty many interesting suggestions... Cheers! Aleksander Stos 11:44, 4 December 2007 (CST)
