Is the "Revolutionary Worker" a reliable source? I'd be inclined to doubt that, but this section seems to be entirely based on it. :I wouldn't consider it highly reliable, but Larry Everest was an established radical journalist with some reasonable publication. He's not the only source, however, for 1980. I believe there have been some declassifications in this area, available at the George Washington University National Security Archive. I've added some background material and a section on Azerbaijan 1946. Most of it is text I borrowed from Wikitravel [http://wikitravel.org/en/Iran], where I was the main author. [[User:Sandy Harris|Sandy Harris]] 03:57, 6 November 2010 (UTC) |

Iran 2006
It looks like this section has become muddled and doesn't appear to make sense. David Finn 08:59, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Actually, it started out muddled - this text was lifted directly from Wikipedia, yes? David Finn 09:03, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Fixed now. David Finn 09:08, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- There is nothing in this article to say it came from Wikipedia, but there should be - the quality is extremely poor. The section General guerrilla actions in Iran by ethnic minorities is so incomprehensible that I am tempted to delete it. David Finn 09:17, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- Technically, it came from WP. I had written a more coherent version there, but it got hacked considerably by partisans, and I had hoped to get it cleaned up here. Articles such Iranian nuclear program and Iranian Security Forces are CZ-original. Perhaps this needs to be split into smaller articles and cleaned up. While I renamed the "general guerilla actions", the subject is important, and it's probably worth noting that the Baluchi groups operate in Pakistan and possibly Afghanistan. Howard C. 1980?
Is the "Revolutionary Worker" a reliable source? I'd be inclined to doubt that, but this section seems to be entirely based on it. Sandy Harris 03:39, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
