The Protector is a fireboat commissioned in Guyana in October 2019.[1]
Design
She is capable of projecting 5,000 gallons of water per minute.[1] She cost $1.4 million US dollars, or $292 in Guyana currency.
She is designed to be perform Search and rescue and water rescue, as well as assisting during civil emergencies and humanitarian missions.[1]
