Systems programmer, retired, mostly for Control Data Corporation (CDC).
Long-time proofreader and light-copy-editor, in self-defense: at CDC, the documentation was controlling. Reasonably good at writing correct English.
I am a sysop on the OpenOffice.org (OOo) wiki, but I am not applying for consideration as a constable, since I lack a degree. Reasonably competent (and improving) at wikification technicalities; happy to assist on request.
While I do not expect to be an Author or Editor, in the Citizendium sense, there is work for me here. (So far, I have found one external link—to "Fundamentals"—that should be an internal link, and a bunch of "--" entries which should be em-dashes.)
