The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs is produced by the American Education Trust (AET). It was formed by retired Foreign Service Officers, and endorses United Nations Security Council Resolution 242, the "land for peace" proposal to solve the Israel-Palestine conflict. It states its goal is to provide a balanced view of the Middle East. [1] It is nonpartisan and privately funded; the supporting group, AET, has Palestinian as well as Israeli and American involvement.
