User talk:Steve Mount
Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) or via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
Hi there. Glad you joined! I am just an author here who is perusing new user pages to say that, and to let you know to be sure to visit Citizendium_Pilot:Discipline_Workgroups. Just select one or as many where you'd like, wherever you think you might like to collaborate. This way, folks can fine each other and work together best. Stephen Ewen 01:42, 8 February 2007 (CST)
It was deleted according to the The Big Speedy Delte criteria as being over two weeks since imported from WP without major changes. No problem restoring, though. I also took off the speedy delete tag, but keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't fall into the list again. If you were to make a recent edit, it would not get deleted. Let me know if it doesn't work! Sorry for any inconvenience or causing any unnecessary angst. Feel free to stop by my talk page if you ever need a constable! - Thanks for the heads up on the edit history. I put a word in on the constable email so maybe we might prevent some other events from occurring. I'll also keep an eye out for anything with your name on it just to make sure;) Matt Innis (Talk) 12:26, 19 February 2007 (CST)
Hi Steve, good work on the state articles--to begin with anyway--but I think we should begin by stating what's notable about each state. This is much more interesting and informative than saying where the state is. --Larry Sanger 15:43, 1 May 2007 (CDT)
- I agree - and I'll flesh them out when I get a chance. I'm tired of the redlinks on the Constitution pages I've done, though, and wanted to get something in there. Steve Mount 15:49, 1 May 2007 (CDT)
