Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! --Matt Innis (Talk) 14:20, 14 February 2007 (CST)

Images

Hi David. Thanks for your contributions to CZ! Please do me a huge favor and review the images you recently uploaded. They lack licensing information. Please see Help:Images#Copyrights and kindly remedy this situation. Thanks! - Stephen Ewen 01:08, 2 April 2007 (CDT)

Big Cleanup

Hi,

Marine Corps is on my list for the Big Cleanup project. I'm marking its status as more than a stub but not ready, mainly because it's so new. If that's wrong, please check it on the Talk page for the article. Daniel Drake 16:40, 11 April 2007 (CDT)

Naval infantry vs. Marine Corps

I have created an article, naval infantry, which is intended to replace Marine Corps. Not all naval infantry are Marines but all Marines are naval infantry. Not all Marine organizations, in countries that designate Marines, are in "Marine Corps".

Unless I hear otherwise, I will eventually redirect Marine Corps to naval infantry. There are articles on the United States Marine Corps, and I'd be delighted to see articles about specific national Marine (and naval infantry), probably starting with U.K. Royal Marines.
