My grandpa's train engine

This was my grandpa's train engine when he used to make runs out of Ft. Wayne. Grandpa survived a train accident in the center of town. Thanks to some nice folks at the Yahoo NKP group I had a photo and a copy of the news article. My mother even managed to sort of get involved in the story as she was late getting home from the library. Of course it was because her dad (my grandpa) was in the accident that blocked traffic. Grandpa later took a medical retirement in 1950 and headed out west.Mary Ash 02:52, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Has he written for the NKPHTS? I was a member for many years. I also have familial relations to the NKP, although not directly. Russell D. Jones 17:58, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Put a couple research links in for later use

I'm not going to have time to write over the weekend but I did put two research links in for the article. They are free to use or I will work with them later. Thanks!Mary Ash 17:45, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
