Any non-fossilized histologists out there?

When I last stained with hematoxylin and eosin, it was in paraffin-embedded blocks. We could use some discussion of tissue staining and microscopy, but I suspect I'm just too out of date on (human) histopathology.

At least Gram, Wright and Giemsa stains are still in use. Maybe Chris Day can add some comments on plant histological techniques. Howard C. Berkowitz 16:47, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
